The agreement

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Zeso: accounts, the builder, hosting, domains, billing, and what neither of us does to the other. Written in plain words, because an agreement you cannot read is not an agreement.

Effective October 1, 2026 · offered in English; the English text governs

01Who this agreement is between

These Terms of Service ("the terms") are an agreement between you and Zeso ("we", "us"), and they take effect October 1, 2026. They govern your use of the Zeso platform: the AI site builder and Studio, website hosting, attachable Pods (forms, events, albums, comments, and collections), domain registration offered through our registrar partners, and related services.

By creating an account or using the platform, you accept these terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of a company or a client, you confirm you may bind that entity — and that your client knows their site is hosted with us.

02Accounts

You need an account to publish. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens through your account. Accounts for drafts are provisioned without an email address and stay recoverable until you claim them — after you claim an account with your email, the site, its content, and its submissions are yours.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. Give us accurate information where we ask for it — most importantly for domain registration, where inaccurate contact data can cost you the domain.

03The service

The builder turns descriptions into websites; Studio edits them; hosting serves them from our edge network. What each hosting plan includes — sites, pages, request allowances, and support — is stated on the pricing page and is incorporated here by reference.

Pods make a section do real work: a form collects submissions into your inbox, a comments pod collects notes, a CMS pod renders collections you define. Submissions are stored for you and are yours; export them or forward them to an endpoint you configure.

We improve the platform constantly. Features may change, and obvious defects get fixed without ceremony. If a change materially reduces what your plan includes, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you may cancel and keep your export.

04Your content

Your sites, text, images, domains, form submissions, and collection data are yours. We claim no ownership over any of it. You grant us exactly one licence: the right to store, render, and serve your content for the purpose of operating the service you asked for — nothing more.

You are responsible for the content you publish and for having the rights to it. If we receive a lawful complaint about content you host — copyright, trademark, or an abuse report through our reporting page — we may act on it: disabling access to the specific content while it is investigated, or removing it if the complaint stands. We will tell you when we do, unless legally prevented.

05Acceptable use

The platform serves real businesses, so a few things are off the table. You may not use it to:

  • publish malware, phishing, or content that impersonates another person or business to deceive;
  • host anything unlawful where you or we operate, including content that exploits or endangers children;
  • attack the platform or others through it — denial-of-service, probing, credential stuffing, or using sites as proxies for abuse;
  • send unsolicited bulk email using the forms or mailboxes, or otherwise consume resources in a way that degrades service for everyone (the fair-use floor in each plan's request allowance exists for this);
  • register domains in bad faith —trademark squatting, drop-catching for extortion, or the patterns ICANN calls abuse.

06Hosting and availability

We serve your sites from a global edge network with automated backups at the intervals your plan states, and one-click rollback. We aim for continuous availability; published uptime targets, where a plan carries one, are commitments with the remedy stated beside them on the pricing page — not decoration.

Free tiers are free forever, not trial balance: the limits stated for them are the whole contract for them. We may adjust free-tier capacity as the platform grows, with notice, and never retroactively for a site you already published.

07Domains

Domain registration is provided through our registrar partners under their registration agreements, which apply to you when you register. We pass registry costs through: the price you see on a domain includes our cost, and the renewal is shown next to the first-year price before you pay.

The fee schedule — what is ours, what is a registry pass-through, and what is quoted live — is published at the pricing page's fee section and is part of these terms. Renewal and restore fees follow that schedule. You are responsible for keeping your domain contact data accurate (ICANN requires it) and for renewal; we send reminders, but the domain follows your payment.

08Billing, renewal, and the price lock

Paid plans bill monthly or yearly, in advance. The rate you sign up at is the rate you renew at for the same plan — we do not raise the renewal above the signup rate. If a price must change for a plan, the new rate applies to new signups and to you only after we have told you at least thirty days ahead; your then-current term stays at the rate you paid.

Cancel any time; your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, and we do not charge again after that. Where a plan offers a money-back window, the length and terms are stated on the pricing page.

09Privacy

We collect what operating the service requires: account details you give us, site content you publish, form submissions your visitors send you, and the technical logs any host keeps. We do not sell personal data, and we do not advertise against your content.

Your visitors' form submissions are stored for you and shown only in your studio inbox or forwarded to the endpoint you configure. Visitor analytics, where enabled, are privacy-first: no cross-site tracking, no profile building.

You can export your content and submissions, correct your account data, or delete your account — deletion removes your sites and stored submissions from production within thirty days, except where law requires us to keep a record (billing history, domain registration contact data).

10Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms — typically after notice and a chance to fix it, immediately where the harm is ongoing (active malware, a phishing page, an attack in progress).

When an account ends, export what you need; we keep site content recoverable for a grace period stated on the plan, then delete it. Domain registrations run to their paid term regardless of hosting termination.

11Disclaimers

The platform is provided as a working service, not with promises beyond the ones we print. Beyond the plan features, the uptime targets, and the price lock stated on the pricing page, the service is provided "as is" — we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the extent the law allows.

AI-generated output can be wrong or generic; you are the editor. Review what the engine writes and publishes — you are responsible for the result, exactly as you would be for a site you built by hand.

12Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about the service is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost profits, lost data (beyond the backups your plan states), or business interruption.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing limits your right to your content, which does not depend on these terms at all.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform changes. Material changes are announced by email and in the dashboard at least thirty days before they take effect; the effective date above moves with each published version. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, cancel before the effective date.

14Contact

Questions about these terms, abuse reports, and legal notices go to legal@zeso.net, or through the abuse report page for content complaints. We answer with a human.
